I spent the long nights drowning in the quiet shade
Counting the pieces of the promises we made
The weight of the silence was crushing my chest
A heart full of shadows that couldn't find rest
I walked through the winter, I walked through the fire
Blinded by dust and a broken desire
But under the surface, a tremor awakes
A beautiful promise that finally breaks
The gravity's shifting, the pressure gives way
I'm leaving the ghost of yesterday
Let the rain fall down, let the water wash the pain!
I am breaking free from the weight of every chain!
A sublime descent into the heart of who I am
Reborn beneath the thunder where the currents ran
Through the cleansing storm, a sudden wave of grace
I rise renewed into a limitless embrace!
The scars on my skin are now turning to gold
A brand new direction is starting to unfold
The air is so clear as the morning arrives
Awakening hope in our beautiful lives
No longer afraid of the storm or the rain
I wash away all of the lingering pain
But under the surface, a tremor awakes
A beautiful promise that finally breaks
The gravity's shifting, the pressure gives way
I'm leaving the ghost of yesterday
Let the rain fall down, let the water wash the pain!
I am breaking free from the weight of every chain!
A sublime descent into the heart of who I am
Reborn beneath the thunder where the currents ran
Through the cleansing storm, a sudden wave of grace
I rise renewed into a limitless embrace!
[Instrumental Breakdown] - 04:22:04:37
It was a long way through the dark
But every shadow held a spark
And now the fire starts to rise
Look at the sun inside my eyes...
Wash the pain away...
Through the cleansing storm...
Reborn again...
